Dallas Contracting Co., Inc. was contracted to selectively dismantle and a three story warehouse in an active fuel storage terminal in

Carteret, New Jersey. Active fuel pipelines were 1-2 feet off the side and rear walls. Prior to demolition, asbestos abatement was performed. Dismantlement of the structure was accomplished using a pc300 excavator with grapple, a 400hd excavator with rotating shear, 2 skid steers, and a 330 CAT excavator with grapple. Approximately 1000 ton of scrap steel and metal was recycled. Demolition also included removal of the slabs and grade beams. Workforce included 3 operators and 6 laborers. Project was completed in 2 months.
