EHS Policy Statement
Dallas Contracting Co., Inc. (Dallas Contracting) and its subsidiaries are committed to conducting business in a manner that is protective of the environment, health and safety (EHS) of employees, customers, and the community.

EHS POLICY OBJECTIVES:
  • Comply with all applicable environmental, health and safety (EHS) laws and regulations, including federal, state and local requirements, as well as Dallas Contracting's own EHS requirements.
  • Provide a healthy and safe environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors with an ultimate goal of zero incidents.
  • Promote pollution prevention, including the conservation of energy, water and raw materials resources, and ensure that all waste is handled and disposed of responsibly.
  • Communicate the environmental, health and safety (EHS) concerns regarding our operations to our employees, subcontractors and clients.
  • Ensure that all employees, managers, and subcontractors are aware of this EHS policy and have been trained appropriately.
EHS POLICY IMPLEMENTATION:

  • Participate in trade associations and professional organizations regarding EHS issues.
  • Provide Dallas Contracting employees with initial and refresher training in occupational health and safety, hazardous materials management, fire prevention and response, and environmental awareness, consistent with the highest standards of professional practice.
  • Work with our suppliers, vendors, and business partners towards our EHS policy and goals, and where practicable, give preference to business partners and vendors whose policies and practices are consonant with our own.
  • Management is accountable for ensuring the EHS policy is implemented. Employees are accountable for understanding and incorporating environmental, health & safety responsibilities into daily work activities. Suppliers, contractors and partners are accountable for meeting applicable EHS requirements.
  • Establish appropriate forums for facilitating communication and disseminating environmental, health, and safety information throughout the Company.
  • Operate our fixed yard and remote operations in a manner that protects the environment, the health and safety of our employees and customers, and the communities in which we operate.
  • Investigate all workplace accidents, illnesses and near-misses. Immediately correct any unsafe conditions or practices and maintain appropriate records. Revise procedures or implement new procedures as necessary.
  • Develop and implement EHS auditing for evaluating EHS impacts. Continuously improve our EHS programs through evaluation, review and implementation of appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Endeavor to meet the goal of zero incidents and no OSHA recordable injuries.
